I think you'll find we're agreeing here. I don't think UFC is taking over anything either, especially not now that GSP and Anderson Silva are "done". The most bankable fighter in UFC is a woman right now, that should tell you what you need to know.

Every UFC fight that gets deemed a "fight of the year contender" is guaranteed to involve 2 guys trading punches, standup. Never hear of anyone creaming their pants over a 5 round roll-athon. Not denying the technical skills involved on the ground, just sayin every time i hear of a great fight in UFC it involves 2 guys on their feet knocking seven bells out one another.
