Browne vs Bahoeli RBR

Post by handsofstone »

I'm not sure if many will be watching this card from Sheffield on NoxBation, top of the bill is Lucas Browne vs Eric Martel Bahoeli for the vacant Commonwealth HW title and on the undercard Karim Guerfi defends his European BW title against Zhanat Zhakiyanov,Adam Etches is also involved against Felipe De La Paz Teniente

I'll be watching this card and taping Klitschko/Leapai on Eurosport, i think i'm being relegated to the bedroom so Her and the kids can watch BGT :x Wi-fi signals crap through there though so hopefully i can still post

Bahoeli looked very decent in stopping the highly touted Bence, this has banana skin written all over it.

Guerfi looks very solid "fringe" world level, the likes of Yamanaka and Moreno would take him to school but...he'd hold his own with pretty much anyone else. Very good fight. ZZ looking 1 dimensional.

Either 3-1 Guerfi or 2-2 through 4

Brilliant right hand from Zhakiyanov knocks Guerfi out in round 5.

Bloody hell that was a monster shot.

Class Act Ricky Hatton - most would be leaping about with the winner, but he was straight over to the fallen boxer. Still one of the good guys is Ricky

Haskins is number 1 contender you would think that would be easy to make now with Hatton in with the champion.

Zhakiyanov has just put himself into the frame with Hall, McDonnell, Butler and Haskins, some good fights out there for him, as well as the options he has abroad.

Not seen Bahoeli, but he has been stopped before, Browne is pretty solid, but Travis Walker and Scott Belshaw both had him down.

This has to be the smallest crowd for a TV fight I've ever seen

Bahoeli 1-0 ..... looked like he was momentarily wobbled by a right hand right near the end of the round though.

Would love to see him in with Fury. Doubt Tyson would fancy it much though.

Gotta love Browne. Nice guy and got a lot of heart even though he's not the most skilled.
