I know Brook is tight at the weight but out of interest does anyone know what weight he comes into the ring at?

I'm guessing around 160lbs. Porter is very thickset and although very powerful, very short for a welter and could be ripe for a beating at the hands of a taller fighter with a good jab. I give Brook a good shot in this fight; it's yet to be seen if Brook really carries a dig at world level but one thing I'm sure of is that Porter won't be able to walk through Brook's punches like he did with Malignaggi.

Ezzard,
I hope you are wrong.
If Brook wins 8 and has to get off the canvass there's no way he gets the result in the States.
They will job him.

I definietly think Kell can outbox Porter over 12 rounds (actually i'd be shocked if he didnt) but I know Kell is very big at the weight so for me, it's how his stamina holds up because Porter will make it a tough, rough fight with a high pace. Hopefully stamina wise Kell has improved from the first fight with Jones.

Surely masking agents are good enough to hide PED's or you can come off them in time for your body to flush them out, only an amateur(not in the boxing sense) would get caught

It looks like Paulie really convinced the ringside gang that Porter must have been cheating.
Nothing to do with the fact Paulie fought like a idiot hands down trading toe to toe like he had a punch or something..

I think that its all down to promotors and money with who gets caught with banned substances in the states. Money talks in all walks of life but even more so in boxing.

Isnt there strong rumours that Mayweather and even De La Hoya have had a few close scrapes which were over looked? Dunno how reliable the sources were on the stories im referring to tho!

Kell Brook is an average challenger at best. Lethargic, indifferent to boxing, tellingly a team that don't seem to believe in him all that much. Shawn Porter on the other hand lives & breathes boxing. I see Porter running right over Brook, and leaving him and Khan to enjoy their cynical 'crossroads' pension payday this Christmas.

It's telling that Team Brook are already murmuring about
about Porter having some 'extra' help. Obviously very worried after his last two imperious performances

Then we move on.
I don't where all this team Brook crap comes from let me assure you I am not connected at all other than knowing the lad well.
I've listened to a lot of people in the business in the last week whose opinion I respect greatly. The drums are beating.

Ok Parsons's so you are not on 'Team Brook' but were any of those sour grapes coming from anyone within Team Brook ? ;-)
He outworked Alexander, crowded him shut him down and roughed him up, Seems to me Porter has raised his game up to the level of opposition..

I understand that but why are the drums beating before the specimens are tested? If he weren't juiced for Devon would he juice for Paulie, really?
