But what I really want to discuss was.... who the eff wears shiny brogues, horse-shoe printed jeans and a hoody ?

They look more like winklepickers in my opinoin.

Groves is playing the same game and Froch is getting visibly wound up but speaking more clearly.

Groves is so detract from emotion and very calculated. He knows what he's doing.

After the arrogance Froch showed in the run up to the first fight and the pasting he took during that fight, and the pressure he was put under to take this rematch, i have to give him credit for keeping himself together so well........ but my sixth sense detects an air of unease around him, i think he's a worried man.

Groves very much has the per hand this time around. Thats how i'm reading it anyway.

Froch won the ringside battle, but watching the facebook talk off between them today, Froch couldn't keep his composure again and Groves didn't come across as the irritating little child he did yesterday, 1-1 thus far.

Gomez you're alright and I hope you're right for your sake but if Groves chins Froch you're gonna look pretty ridiculous

From what I've seen so far, the person who GG seems to be winding up most is Eddie Hearn. He clearly only wants one winner.

IMO I didn't think GG came across as best as he could on ringside and CF did well to keep his composure but hes a professional so he should do. I think the reason GG didn't come across greatly on is because he feels that Sky (Adam & Johnny) are both in Froch's corner and it does come across that way IMO. I think the only time on ringside GG looked as though he respected and gave a non rehearsed answer was when Ryan Rhodes asked him a question.

I'm glad you've come round to my way of thinking on the shoes, Gomez. They're definitely not a pair of brogues.

Despite being a Froch disliker I acknowledge his betterment of Groves on ringside, it's such a shame that Sir Gomez is so entrenched in the Froch camp that he can't see any negatives relating to Sir Froch, it's such a shame because without the comprehensive bias Gomez would be a reasonably good poster on here

I thought Froch did look a little antsy on ringside but for those of you who didn't watch the Facebook Q&A, he definitely won that exchange. I think Froch has got loads more respect for Groves but like said earlier he could overthink his defence and be too worried about Groves' strengths. If he does that he will lose a wide UD I think. If he has confidence in his chin, because he knows he can take the best Groves can throw at him, and walks him down then I think he will stop Groves in a similar fashion. Either way it is gonna be a great fight and I can't decide who I think will win, let alone who I actually want to win!

Froch definitely not getting as wound up as before. Groves though still quite sharp and measured with his taunts. Smith with the long scripted intro. All is normal. Can't wait for fight night though. Going to be a cracker.

Yeah I would echo that, Froch was so prickly in the runup to the first fight, could tell he was struggling to get up for it. Now he looks far more relaxed, probably feels more like an underdog now and he performs at this best there.

You've confused me a bit; Froch was prickly and hated the things Groves said before the first bout - surely he'd be up for the fight then? Now he's more relaxed, as an underdog? When has Froch been an underdog and when has he performed well as one?

Cheers.

You're always confused, palooka. But even you couldn't confuse brogues with winklepickers.

To knock Froch down, not out. Groves had his chance and hit Carl with the kitchen sink after the heavy knockdown and couldn't stop him. Once Froch started landing punches, Groves was struggling badly.

Forgetting that who were all the hoi polloi in the audience .. Gathered outside the studio with the promise of a hot cup of tea
I was there; sat behind Froch - wild hair, staring eyes and my shirt unbuttoned to my navel; I was going to jump on Lee Froch' back and bum him

They both did well, neither seems to enjoy the limelight and Groves is trying to get an advantage again - he did rile Froch last time. Froch has taken advice and knows that anything Groves says is designed to upset him. It's a phoney war; both know it's going to be tough on the night. Groves looks bigger than Froch and he has a point about the mandated thing - Froch didn't want it again. It'll be British fight of the year again.
I saw ya! Lee Froch getting dry humped by Palooka live on ringside would have been highlight of the show
