I don’t really see it meaning anything, I mean his one world title fight was as one sided as you could get, Danny was pummelled.
His pummelling by the hands of Sam also underlines his limitations on the real world stage.
His defeat of Tyson now means nothing after that tomato can McBride also defeated Tyson.
Danny was carefully chosen as fodder for Tyson, Tyson’s people knew Tyson was short of world-class ability even then, they just didn’t know quite how bad he had further fallen.
Only in Britain is so much credit given to Danny Williams, but even that is more myth than actual fact…”on his day Danny could do …”.

If Audley is to make a statement that he really is world class he has to make this fight totally one sided, Sam did and so did Vitali.
I think this fight is real 50/50, both are not much better than average.
Danny has a punchers chance because Audley lacks heart.
Audley could win because he has good boxing skills, and the most likely outcome is that he clinches and punches on the break until he catches the fat Danny Williams late on.
Just can’t see this fight turning into anything like the hype has made it.
Danny rushes out swinging for two rounds, Audley ties him up and spoils, hits on the break ,and Danny goes into the doing nothing mode and gets caught when he `s tired, and after a solitary Harrison combination the ref stops it…and Harrison tells us he has proved he can now beat all the other belt holders on the world stage….and Duke agrees with him. :P
Nothing but a one-sided fight will convince me though.
If Harrison can keep Danny off with the jab and slot in the left hand,
if he can dissuade Danny from bulling in with the uppercut,
and then after 4-5 rounds when Danny is doing nothing just overawe him and get the stoppage
Only then will I be a believer….will it happen like that…..
