Was he wearing a monocle?
Re: Walked past Chris Eubank Sr on Brighton seafront today....
he's probably a fairly common sight with locals, if you live in Brighton I imagine it's quite a popular attraction.

I don't go in for autographs or photos, however, I would defo ask Eubank to sign my copy of his book if I had chance, as it's fantastic. Only I got mine from the library!

Do they mount him on a plinth on the pier? I'd be a bit miffed about seagulls shitting on my head and whatnot.n1ebf wrote:he's probably a fairly common sight with locals, if you live in Brighton I imagine it's quite a popular attraction.

Anyway, did you not have any crack with him? I grew up on Eubank and although I don't think I knew it then, looking back he's one of my all time favourites....he's also got some interesting opinions and is a bit of an oddball really. I don't interfere with "celebrities" but I'd have had to say hello to Eubank even if that was all it was lol.

You should have bumped into him ala Norman Wisdom, trodden on his monacle as you helped him up and dropped your ice cream in his head.

I had a similar experience a year or so back.jameswilson wrote:as you do.

That was in Brighton too. I was walking behind too much, and after taking a minute to go; "Oh shit! It's Eubank", and then ponder if I had anything to say to him other than; "You fought Nigel Benn", I realised my mates hadn't stopped to stand there and gawp at former boxers. (And were a few years younger than me, so may well have not known who Eubank was.)
So I ignored the fact that a former world champion was sat outside of a coffee shop in Brighton and caught up with them.

I was in Brighton, I was behind and was going slow. I ground to a halt as Chris Eubank took me by surprise.columbo wrote:That's definietly a euphemism
What's rude about that?

I think the 'I ground to a halt' was a bit rude as well but it may be be that I'm easily upset.Viktor Vaughn wrote:The bit in bold.ILikeBeer wrote:I was in Brighton, I was behind and was going slow. I ground to a halt as Chris Eubank took me by surprise.columbo wrote:That's definietly a euphemism

Imagine having sex, only to have Eubank turn up to surprise you.
