Danny Williams has weighed in heavier than ever for his Commonwealth heavyweight title clash with Audley Harrison at London's ExCel Centre on Saturday.

Williams tipped the scales at 19 stone six pounds, beating by two pounds his previous heaviest weight - for his world title challenge to Vitali Klitschko one year ago.

However, Williams was wearing baggy tracksuit bottoms and admitted his true weight was closer to the 18st 13lbs he weighed for his demolition of Mike Tyson in Louisville last year.

Either way, Williams will have a distinct weight advantage over Harrison, who got on the scales first and recorded a weight of 18st 1lb, four pounds more than for his last fight against Robert Wiggins.

The pair avoided confrontation, despite Williams admitting on Thursday that he could not trust himself to behave in Harrison's presence.

Williams said afterwards: "This is the perfect weight for me and I have never felt better than I do for the fight tomorrow.

"People wonder if the Klitschko loss took something out of me but in fact it proved that I can take some great punches and what a warrior I am.

"I will prove this to Audley tomorrow night and I just can't wait to get into the ring with him."

Amir Khan and Daniel Thorpe weighed an identical 9 stone 11 and a half pounds for their four-round non-title contest on the undercard.

Matt Skelton, who defends his British heavyweight title on the undercard, will have a five-pound weight advantage over John McDermott. The Bedford brawler was 18st 3lbs, with the Londoner 17st 12lbs.

I think the thing is that there was a rumour that he had weights in the lining of the trakkie bottoms before the Klitschko fight.

The fact is though if Dannys in the frame of mind where he needs to weigh in with weights up his arse then its going to be another Klitchenko or Sam night I'm afraid... :x :x :x

Being that heavy certainly didn't help against Klitchenko... at his best Williams was a fast heavy with quick hands, but at 270+ he's going to be static and plodding and a target for Harrisons jabs and without the speed to chase Harrison down...

despite his long reach, Danny doesn't box so well from the outside. if he's 273 obese pounds, how's he going to get near Harrison? Danny's not very good at going forwards. some of his sharper performances, vs Long and Tyson, were done on the back foot.

He's fighting someone that Klitschko would bounce around like a rag doll and destroy inside 2 rounds. Quite a difference I'd say.

he weighed in about the same as the Klitchko fight and he had his top off at that weigh in (cannot look any different).. not sure if he had trousers on though

Maybe,jimmy mcdonald is an intelligent man and may think by wearing in heavy,the Harrison may start to think that Williams may be sluggish and may underestimate him.

We can only wait and find out, but someone made a very good point a week or two ago - Williams hasn't fought anyone (of note at least) who is a southpaw

Audley Harrison is no fighter. So scared to go forward and take a punch from Williams it was embarassing. At one point in the eleventh he had Williams half hurt and backed up in the corner Danny had his gloves high just looking to survive the round and still Harrison hung back (probably fearful of a lightening fast Williams counter

) Had Williams come in at a decent weight he could have gotten inside and blasted Harrison out. Awful fight.
