Week 16 Fight of the Week Nominees

Some awesome fights this week.

To me the top candidates are Pacquiao vs Barrera, where Barrera was able to push Pac to the limit. Pac got by though after surviving some scary moments.

Oscar Larios vs Toshiaki Nishioka...Multiple Knockdowns, the Game Larios is never in a bad fight, and he delivered again in Week 16

The WTF Title Fight between Jeff Chandler and Rafael Marquez was interest as Chandler dominates round 1, then gets outboxed rounds 2 thru 4 only to come back and stop Marquez in the 5th and become the new WTF Champ.

Pete Herman's fight with Ruben Olivares was another War involving Olivares, his power sent Herman to the canvas early on, but the Champ Herman came back with another impressive performance to force a stoppage in the 9th round.

...and last but certainly not least Terry McGovern and Jeff Fenech really tore the house down in their War with both men seeing the canvas and trading a ridiculous amount of heavy blows. McGovern scored a spectacular KO in the 13th round to become a 2 time Champion, and brought a tremendous conclusion to my personal pick for Fight of the Week.

Pretty clearly this poll has come down to only 2 real options, but they are still at a dead heat. Keep the votes coming gentleman. I'd like ties to be avoided if at all possible.

The only reason anyone is voting for the Referee giving the IBF belt to McGovern is they are entertained by the absurdity of what the Ref did, and are attempting to bring light to the injustice of it all.

it came down to two for me, I thought Fenech vs McGovern and Herman vs Olivares were the best fights, but seeing that its basically between Fenech-McGovern and Pac-Barrera my vote goes to Fenech vs McGovern
