Listening to old time radio serials on the iPhone and came across an old serial featuring slapsie maxie. Ofcourse I remember him from old movies and by his reputation. Then I checked his record 280 odd fights... Amazing. Just looking at his record and imagining I was at MSG. He died young, I wonder if it was boxing related? Thanks Max

I remember reading that Maxie Rosenbloom was suffering from a form of dementia at the time he passed away.
