Khan TKO 2.

Wow. Thorpe gave it a good go, tried a bit of ruff and tuff and hugging. Khan in the end just too powerful. Those rights are big. One or two bits of showboating though, hands down at the waist a couple of times. Hopefully he grows out of it, otherwise when the opposition steps up he'll go down.

He is quality though

He looked good to me. A little wild at times, but he's young and will have time to master his craft. I think he should have a good future ahead of him....

No offence to anyone, but at the moment I feel like there's really nothing to be discussed at this stage of Amir's career. It's been the same story after each of his fights; opponent was sub-standard, Amir has a lot to learn, Amir looks very good. And dont get me wrong, I dont expect anything less than this, it's just ordinarily no average fan would give a shit about a fighter at this point in their career, but the media has got us all so hyped over Amir that we find ourselves totally over-analysing every thing he does.

I guess I'll get a bit more excited when he takes on his 10th or 15th opponent.

Im not sure about Khan's trainer, I think his punching tech has gone a bit backwards since he turned pro, he needs to keep his punches fast and snappy, stop looping. I think he could learn so much more with a more experienced trainer...

I liked what Kahn did. Apart from the showboating, but then again it's an entertainment business. Part of me wonders if he's trying to be Naz, part of me wonders if he could take a massive step up in class and beat, say, Graham Earl now.

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IF KHAN IS A LIGHTWEIGHT OR LIGHT-WELTERWEIGHT????? He fights above lightweight but maybe they'll get him to drain down a bit for lightweight fights. I think he could be a champ at lightweight.

Khan looked allot stronger than previously - the weight trainings paying off.

stand by my position that Khan does not hit very hard (though is fast) and gets hit with too many shots. First decent fighter will chin him.

at one point khan ended up in the corner with punches coming in and he dropped his hands and ducked and swerved out of trouble...i didn't like that! keep your hands up at all time cos you never know...it's all well and good having confidence in your ability but he could have easliy walked on to a punch....

other than that it's looking good...

Good effort from Thorpe, he did what I expected he would try to do - rough him up.

Very impressed with Khan though, showed a bit a devil there and looked powerful. Hopefully, we will get Thorpe's own view of it when he's back on line.

I was dissapointed that Naz was so supportive of Khan, cheering when he won - Thorpe was his old stablemate.

Thorpe was trying to mess the fight up and bending rules. Refree was pissed at Thorpe to tidy the fight. It is not Khan fault from my view.

AK was fantastic tonight - only 4th pro fight and well violent! Dan tried to rough him up but it didn't work - Khan was more than brutal to match those tactics. Khan was extremelly fast and powerful, doing great for someone on his fourth pro fight. its great to have a british fighter creating such exciting waves. good luck to him, he has huge potential, with great support. He keeps proving those backseat pundits wrong - without a doubt he had the skill and mindset to do well, and the good thing is he seems self critical enough to develop in a positive way.

Another top performance by Amir, and an opponent who came to fight. On to 6 rounders next, and hopefully we see a lot more fights like this from the young man.

All predictable.

They got the stoppage win.

Didn`t prove anything.
And Khan didn`t learn anything.

Nice to see the union jack shorts had a run out lastnight, and a Pakistan t-shirt when he sat at ringside

One thing is for sure, Khan definately has power. He is getting stronger all the time and will continue to grow and bulk up. With these short matches there is only a limited amount of time to gain a knockout, yet he has managed to do this technically 3 out of 4. He is super fast and as they say, power comes with speed. Nothing more at this stage that he can do to prove himself, has detroyed all that has been put in front of him.
