:salut: Pretty much my all time favorite fighter, and I thank you for mentioning him.

Gatti is most definitely in the discussion along with...

Erik Morales
Bobby Chacon
Matthew Saad Muhammad

to name a few. At their respective peaks, you'll basically never see any of these guys in a fight that's not exciting in one way or another. These 4 guys are in a great deal of the greatest fights I've ever seen in my life.

Thomas Hearns, some of the greatest skills and power in history coupled with vulnerability and warrior spirit. He's the man.

Carmen Basilio was in 5 in a row. 1955-1959

He's certainly gotta rank up there as one of the all time Most exciting fighters as well.

I know most people won't agree but I enjoyed watching Vitali Klitschko fight.

Too each their own, he's bored me to tears with the exception of the Lewis and Chisora fights. A lot of that is his abysmal opposition, he's certainly willing.

Probably Danny Lopez for me. He had to mount a comeback in a lot of fights, and that was always exciting to watch. He was like that old Timex watch commercial: "Takes a licking but keeps on ticking . . ."

I'd like to second Saad Muhammad and add one Jesse James Hughes to the list.

There where some great fighters around those weights then-so exciting to watch As Ill Duce Said Little red lopez, also Ruben Olivares, Zamora and Carlos Zarate great mexican fighters

For British fight fans Clinton Mckenzie and Corny Boza Edwards-who fought Chacon in two wars-and Mark Kaylor always bought some mayhem with him.

Once you start thinking though you keep getting names popping up

I love Basilio, but often ponder why his ol arch-nemesis seems to get so little love.

Tony Demarco was powerful... relentless.... wild and EXCITING. There's a fella who could bang with the best of them.

From the UK.....Benn, Shea Neary, Paul 'Hoko' Hodkinson and Hamed.

Hoko is one of my favourite all time fighters, he really was good and always put in on his opponents, often needing to because he was a bad bleeder/sweller.

Would love to see a Hoko restrospective on the board....just for a short while he was cracking, world class fireball of a fighter and it is kind of a shame he's half-forgotten now.

:TU: He was class; every punch was crisp and delivered with his body weight behind it - a very good fighter.

He wasn't the most exciting but for anyone who never saw Troy Dorsey fight, I strongly suggest you give it a go. Man never stopped throwing shots.
