Any examples of relatives fighting each other in pro ranks?
Any examples of relatives fighting each other in pro ranks?
Was just wondering if there are any good examples of brothers (or even cousins) fighting one another in the pro ranks at all?
Obviously I know the Klitschkos vowed to never do it.

Harry Duiven Jnr and Snr. Father and son. Snr was a last minute sub, hugely over-weight and complained of an early stoppage.

Convenience. Jnr's opponent pulled out and his dad stepped in to give him a fight. Google "Harry Duiven Snr" for a photo.jeej wrote:Was there bad blood, or was it just convenient and they were both up for it?grub wrote:Harry Duiven Jnr and Snr. Father and son. Katsuaki Eguchi vs Kusuo Eguchi, brothers that fought for the Japanese minimum weight title. Kusuo won in the 6th round.

You think they would miss that boat then? Not a chance I think. There are one or two on here that can put us right on matters of the caravan dwellers...
