Gaynor v Anwar on Coldwell TV tonight

Post by ringtoneboxing »

I don't know about you lot but I am really looking forward to this one. Both fighters have something to prove and their styles should make for a very interesting match. Who are you backing to win?

Got to feel sorry for Maxi Hughes, late pull-out by Joseph Laryea means he now faces Qasim Hussain (1-10-2), a 20 year old, never been stopped. Maybe Maxi will try to be the first but surely an comfortable win for the Doncaster lad.

You can watch the action on your phone or iPad with the Coldwell TV App from anywhere in the world (I think).

Great fight, Gaynor has to have a slight edge, as Anwar's form has dipped lately, plus Gaynor is a very big welter, whilst Anwar is really a light welter, Anwar has fought better fighters and has more experience, two yorkshire lads who won't want to lose a local derby, over a year ago would have gone for Anwar, as he was flying, had just won a final eliminator against the dangerous puncher Miles, who had ko'ed Curtis Woodhouse in a fight of the year, had already won Prizefighter, but he then lost widely and badly to the then British champion Darren Hamilton, a damaging defeat and then lost to a journeyman, when carrying a lot of excess weight and losing confidence, this is his chance to bounce back, but Gaynor is on a roll.

I'm commentating on this one, really good fight, just leaning towards chad, think he has to get to adil early and make the fight physical, if he does I think he might stop him late on, if he can't and adil can use his good feet and fast hands he could win this one on points, wouldn't put my house on either outcome, very good fight

I actually think Anwar will be expecting Chad to come forward and pressure him so is preparing to dance the early rounds away. I'm also expecting Anwar will make Gaynor miss a lot, his movement is very good, so it's important for Chad to keep his head straight and not get wound up by it. Chad to win late stoppage.

I like the look of this one, anwar will be slipping ducking and diving, chad will be looking for a tear up. Is anwar slick enough to stay away from chad for 10? or is chad good enough to catch the slick anwar?

good matchmaking.

Going to this one & agree with the above poster. The Anwar that lost to the journeyman loses big time, but the Anwar of old has enough to outbox Chad. I think thats what makes this so intriguing.

I'm looking forward to it. I'm a big fan of the Coldwell TV app. This fight is due to start at approximately 9.30pm but times can change depending on the outcome of the undercard fights :box:

Cracking fight on right now, Serge Ambomo v Jerome Wilson. Action packed and competitive. Both have been knocked down.

Indeed, wild swings but exciting stuff. Good win for Ambomo. I hope there is a rematch.

How was that for a KO from Gaynor?

Well pleased for him. Must set his sights on Skeete now. Coldwell not keen to jump that high too soon but I think he's got the tools to dismantle Skeete easily.

6x3 light welterweight
Jerome Wilson 8(2)-1-0
vs
Serge Ambomo 2(1)-0-0

Ambomo decisions Wilson
Ambomo down in round 1 & Wilson down in round 3

This was the best fight of the night with WIlson starting better but Ambomo taking control with both fighters in brutal exchanges...
