I like Galahad. Great movement, decent power, but has not been active enough 16 fights in five years has meant I dont think he has learned as much as he should have. This defence is a bit of a waste of time, I dont see the Aussie causing him any problems at all. Would have preferred he had a bit more of a challenge. There are better British super bantams than the Aussie.

According to our fight history, he was inserted as opponent 10 days ago. His activity going into the fight is a concern, which always is in Oz for guys at the weight. However, he's a natural boxer/fighter & will no doubt acquit himself well.

If Galahad is going to be as good as he thinks he is he needs to fight people who will test him more than Jazza Dickens did last year.

Whether this guy does that remains to be seen.

According to our fight history, he was inserted as opponent 10 days ago. His activity going into the fight is a concern, which always is in Oz for guys at the weight. However, he's a natural boxer/fighter & will no doubt acquit himself well.

I very much doubt he's going to be racially abused.

What does he do? fly around the world to places he can get abused when he is not boxing just so he can used to it? or perhaps Queensland is a very hostile place and he gets lots of abuse at home? maybe he annoys people by going around saying things like "you cant do the things Fred can do" or "Freddy Mundraby would like a cup of tea"

Mudraby looks in awesome shape. Not seen him fight but hope he tests Galahad.

Was Galahads hardest fight by a long way. I'm sure I read Dickens was ahead on cards when stopped. Nothing in it until the stoppage Jazza just seemed to get tired about round 8-9

I have mixed reactions to Galahad's announced fight.

1. I'm not impressed with the quality of the opponent (especially after him saying that he blieved he was good enough to fight for a World Title and that he wanted Framtpon & Quigg.)

2. Although I can see why he's took this fight, it gains him the Commonwealth title. Which gives him "the triple" alongside the British & European titles. I respect that, everyone is in such a hurry nowadays that it's nice to see a fighter working his way up the "traditional route" we could say.

I expect a Galahad win, a convincing performance - then he should really be looking at some of the fighters ranked 10-15.

Totally agree however all of the titles have been vacant when he's fought for them. He's not actually beat a champion for any of the titles he's won yet. Wouldn't be surprised to see him fight for an interim world title in the next 18 months, and being promoted to world champion when the belt holder vacates. It's the road allegedly took Cleverly down. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with this approach, I'm just not convinced it'll help him long term when he steps up to face a quality operator when it counts.
