Joe Duffy, who is one of the main guys featured in the article linked to in the OP, just signed with Cage Warriors and is going back to MMA. It makes sense. Given he holds wins over Norman Parke and Conor McGregor I would assume he is only a few wins away from getting a high profile fight in the UFC; especially now with McGregor being one of the UFC's chosen sons. That really wasn't the case when he made the switch to boxing.

Jason Ball from Doncaster swapped the cage for the ring and is a handful and is still improving; he got a good result the other week.
