Skelton is scrappy, but yeah he will want a fight, but Danny wouldn't be able to fight if he tried.

Are you really suggesting this might be a good fight?

The domestic HW scene is sooo bad!

exactly. Skelton has a habit of moving. This will provide almighty problems for 48 stone Williams. The whole thing is a farce. Someone phone up the Nigerian embassy, tell them we want Akinwande back

Felt for John McDermott in there - 1 legitimate KD and the ref stopped the fight. It showed how much attention Duke was paying, one minute he said "Good stoppage, cause McDermott was out". The next thing he said "That wasn't a knockdown there" (in the replay) and it was the one were the referee stopped the fight.

There was going to only be one winner, but it was a harsh stoppage.

Skelton wins easy if Williams weight anyway near 19st. He should have lost tonight, he was awful - but Harrison was WORSE and the decision was thankfully just.

Danny in shape beats him.

Mc Dermott wasn't anything much and Skelton just walked over him and the stoppage was early but at least there was less holding from Skelton.

Skelton needs a puncher though as he can;t keep brawling and holding all the time with fat guys who lack punching power.

Agree Max, but the chances of Danny being in shape are slim (no pun). He wasn't in shape for Klitchsko, he wasn't in shape for Harrison, he wasn't in shape for Tyson, he wasn't in shape for their proposed bout. When is the last time he has been in shape.

Still believe a Danny Williams hovering around the 17 and a 1/2 stone wins a world title (and could even unify) - but its not going to happen.

Danny's always been slightly absent in the upstairs department, so nothing surprises me. But do many 32 year old HW's have much of an issue getting into shape? Just seems a tad young to me to be struggling to get into good shape for a fight.

Skelton has everything to beat Williams, imo. Good stamina, a solid chin, and enough power to get the job done. It will be a much better fight than Williams vs. Harrison, though.

John McDermott was in terrible shape last night, the kid should be ashamed of himself.
How can he come into a fight as flabby as that and hope to compete.

My wife just laughed as he stood there before the fight, he is only 25yrs old...he should be full of ambition...not full of pies.

I side with Skelton against Danny because he can fight at pace for as long as the fight lasts.

Neither fighter was really good - Harrison fought his usual way which is just good not enough for challenging for a top title - Williams was overweight so we didnt see him at his full potential - Didnt agree with the split decision should have been Williams on all three cards - Harrison is as its been proven well over rated, he will never get a world belt - Williams could, if he can sort his weight out but that seems very doubtful - Skelton v Williams should be a better bout if Williams is around 17 stone, but with that being unlikely I predict Skelton taking that one - Skelton will then get a shot at a world title, hopefully by this time next year and I beleive he is in with a chance
