Not many would take Hearns at WW. Not Pacquiao and anyone else around today.

Interesting matchup between one of the biggest welterweight champs and one of the smallest. Hearns would have 6 1/2 inches in height and 11 inches in reach over Pac Man and if we factored in modern day-before weigh-ins, he could come in with a good 10lb weight advantage as well.

Hearns KO3 - it would be an entertaining fight while it lasted, but once Hearns connects with a flush right, it's over. His left to the body could be a factor in this fight too. Overall he's just too big and too skilled for Pacquiao at welterweight.

I think Hearns would spark Pacquiao around the 4th or 5th round.

I really don't know if I can think of a worse match up for Pacquaio. The only positive for him is the fact that Hearns was always a bit chinny.

Hearns in under 6.

They wouldn't have fought, Hearns was a beast at welter and far too 'big' for Manny. If they did Hearns would have surely bombed him early - first 3 rounds.

(A good bout would have been Pacquiao v Cuevas.)

Purely in terms of size in ring, it seems like a mismatch. When you factor in Hearns boxing ability, handspeed and freakish power in conjunction with Manny's stye....

Hearns by stoppage somewhere, late or early, it's coming I believe.

Amazing to think that while both fought at welterweight, Pacquiao started his career at minimum weight and Hearns eventually fought at cruiserweight (the old 190lb limit) - and wasn't fat at that weight.

I can't evisage any 'little' welterweight ever beating Tommy Hearns.

Anyone that has risen up through the weights would most likely end up as cannon fodder for Hearns.

The only exception to this is Floyd Mayweather Jr, but, even he would have endured a torrid time against Hearns, I believe.

I think Floyd gets a beating, Hearns style wise and physically is just all wrong for Floyd IMO.

I definitely think Hearns would stop Floyd as well.

I don't but I definitely think he'd keep him so defensive that he'd win a lopsided decision.

I could see that too. Either way, I find it hard to envision a scenario where Floyd would come out on top against Tommy.

That fight would be finished waaay before that. The Hitman was in another class. This would be worse than Pipino Cuevas I believe.

I love Pacman, he is my favorite fighter today, but, I do not think he would beat Pipino Cuevas, either.
