Watched it again in the cold light of day. This will be my last post before I commit suicide. This was an absolute textbook of Audrey's criticism's and him justyfying his critics. The chin, well, we knew that already. But the workrate, oh my god. He could have finished Danny in the 11th, he really could. Williams, give him his due, held out 'till then, but he was ready to go. Harrison gets him on the ropes...and then...stands there and watches him. WTF??? Again in the 12th, best sequence of the night from Harrison, and he does absolutely nothing to capitalise on that. He stands there and watches his handywork. It's like the work to get Danny on the ropes is all a rouse so he can have a breather for a few seconds. Absolutely piss poor. Not that Danny was any great shakes. He'll lose to Skelton in that shape.

This can be a warning for Warren and anyone else taking this line as well. If you keep feeding your fighter guys who don't fight back, when you're forced into putting him in with someone with even the slightest of fighting spirits, he'll get his boots smoked.

Well it was a boring fight for sure.

We knew Danny Williams limitations going into the fight and we had our suspicions of fr-Audley Harrisons also.

Danny won the fight for sure, all those that thought Audley won should go back to the `current scene`.

Danny redeemed himself in my eyes and is back as a national hero, sure he is nowhere near world level but he sure can expose them who pretend to be.

Lets hope this is the last of Fr-Audley and the whole entire A-Farce thing.

Barry McGuigan for me just gets better and better, he told it as it was...all right he tried to apologize later but soon retracted it.
But Duke…. he is a lovely fella but why do they have him on there.

Danny Williams is doing the right thing in sticking to the domestic scene to fight Skelton, he won`t win a world title but against the best Britain has he can more than compete.

And what was Skelton fighting last night, a genuine dough-boy, that kid should be ashamed of himself to come into the ring in that shape, quick glance I thought they`d brought in Butterbean, the kid was only 25yrs old…what a disgrace.

Big John was well out of shape, what do you think his training consists of?

Have to give full respect to Danny Williams though, as bad and overweight as he is, he managed to prove that Audley is worse and can barely string 5 punches together before he is knackered.

These boys should watch a replay of their fights, it might embarass them into working on their stamina.

Did I see it right?
Geniune knockdown, not the cleanest of punches hit him on the top of the head - but geniune.

what a load of bull ,on another web site they were saying bruno was the worst heavey weight,i say these clowns who box last night are the worst audley, danny ,skelton. jhon mac, what a bunch of no hopers.dont think khan as what it takes to reach world level ? mark still over him and that kevin mitchel looked awful if he was in with a banger it would be lights out getting hit to easy, jhon murry would destroy him on that shambolic performances, good debut for dean smith though 1st round ko.

If it wasn't for that 1 knockdown punch landing then Audley would of won no doubt. He was landing alot more.

jamesmcdonnell wrote:Recorded the fight only saw the first 10, Danny totally exposed Audley as a tentative plodding and pathetic fighter, not even close on my card after 10, had danny a country mile ahead, Audley can forget any pretentions of greatness, goodnight vienna.
This post has made me feel sane again :D I thought i was going crazy but i only saw Williams as the winner and by a country mile as you say. I can't see the case for Harrison i really can't he did absolutely zip all. Danny was at least hurting the body which paid off as Audley was too knackered to finish him in the later rounds when he had Danny going. I think Danny again showed some courage and bottle to come through in the 12th and slug it out.

The commentary was frustrating me, in one round Danny whacked in 2 or 3 good body shots and then a couple of clubs to the head, ok not textbook but it was the only thing being done so it has to score! After Danny backed off Rawling or Duke said something like "Danny has done some good work but has backed off and let Audley back in to the round"

Let him back in how exactly?? HE ISN'T DOING ANYTHING EITHER!!! So Williams wins the round surely because at least he did something, just because he backs off doesn't mean Audley wins the round because Audley isn't doing fornicate all either :o Ahhhhhh

None of them deserved it, the only thing Danny did was land (glanced) 1 big punch. Although Audley wasn't doing much either, he was still landing the jabs throughout the fight.

Perhaps the worst British fight of the year.
Those weren't jabs, I'm now convinced that Audley is blind, he was gently feeling Williams' face just to get an idea of what he looks like.

Jesus!... I recently rewatched Bugner vs Cooper.... those two could have beaten both Harrison and Williams on the same night!. I like Williams but he's about 20 pounds to heavy at least, he was so slow at times I thought I was watching a slowmo replay!... as for Audely he's been exposed once and for all and should quit now with his money and what little dignity he has left... :x

A lot more what?... he was just flicking out the 'jab' like he had a fly in his face... that wasn't a punch of any description. Danny threw 90% of the fights meaningful punches and went forward all night, anyone who thinks Audely won really doesn't know what they were watching...

Audely was saying before the fight how Williams hasn't been taught how to box... shame noone taught Audely how to throw a proper jab rather than a 'I've got a fly on my face...' flick that he seemed to think was a jab...

I dont think Audley won it, like I said, Danny's knockdown won him the fight.

Pathetic performance by both.

Any one of our current top cruisers would have beaten those two last night. How either could be as knackered as they were, after doing NOTHING for 8 rounds is beyond belief. Hobson, Nelson, Haye and Enzo would have beaten both of the fighters last night.

I would really like to see the punchstat numbers, was anyone even counting?

Williams did nothing, and Audley was shit scared. It's a shame they couldn't both be declared the loser.

Will anyone argue Lennox wouldn't have ko'ed either of them within 2 rounds?
