Curtis Woodhouse vs Bradley Saunders

Post by Michael bennt »

If both woodhouse and Saunders come through against limond and nurse, this looks to be next for both men, how do you see this intriguing clash of styles going?

only can go one way Woodhouse gets KO'd!! Don't get me wrong he wins the award for greastest boxing/sports triumph of the year and last year twitter banter was a classic but he is essentially a journeyman Saunders is an elite level boxer destined for big things his gradual rise rather than some is due to bad hands and a stop start period in the pros but what iv seen of him he will go far but lets get it right he WILL have a fight on the night but only one outcome. Sorry Curtis ;)

Saunders inside 3 rounds nothing against Woodhouse Saunders would beat every other light welter in the country

Nurse looked pretty darn good on ringside, fighting again on a matchroom bill wednesday, surely Eddie plans on signing him if he impresses again so maybe Saunders vs Nurse won't happen.

Your over rating Saunders big time, and massively under rating Curtis, I think woodhouse beats Saunders over 12 hard rounds after coming through some tough early rounds

Probably correct, but there is not much in that division to be honest.

Would be an interesting fight if Frankie Gavin made light welter. Who would you pick if that happened?

Although I'd strongly fancy Saunders for this one coz he's a quality operator there's no way Woodhouse is only a journeyman. He's a British champ. Commonwealth challenger about to have a unification fight and has a winning record. I wouldn't have thought a journeyman can beat Hamilton

Yeh exactly! Journeyman??? Nothing against them at all but I would never put Woodhouse in that catagory

1 fight at a time, im use to being written off and told i cant beat him him and him, gets boring after 8 years, IF it happens ill fight hard as i can, tyrone is a harder fight for me style wise IMO, got willie limond in scotland to get past 1st, thats a tough fight for a journeyman like myself

yea seems to be able to bully people the now and looks mean and powerfull in there
need to see him in with someone that can take it , make him miss and give it back
i think alot of people will see Curtis as a soft touch and great oppertunity to win the British due to a few losses and his lack of boxing background ,

Champions need to defend and im sure curtis wont have lack off offers.

Haha yeah ok journeyman maybe a slight disrepect and unjustified seein u/he does seem to keep proving people wrong and in good entertaining fights but in my opinion Saunders should be a level up age experience even style but what it could come down to is heart and yes Curtis does have that. Id say im thinkin in terms of could Saunders an ex olypiad/pro boxer go play pro football for Barcelona no but could maybe av a good game a couple of leagues lower! But mate to come into boxing at that age with little experience blows my mind to think of winning a British title so I fully understand can't be written off and why not! But no disrespect Curtis gotta stick with my prediction but I will route for ya! Just don't come round my house lol!

I actually think Tyrone Nurse beats the lot...he has improved a lot with his man strength in the last couple of years

Think Curtis is a credit to the sport and to say he's a journeyman is hilarious, clueless.... All that said in no circumstances does he beat Saunders for me!! Coldwell will only take this fight if he must ! The tv situation may also be a styling block with a Hearn v FW situation unfolding

Warren made a very good offer for Curt to fight Saunders but the offer to fight Limond was better. Curt would have taken the Saunders fight no problem othe than for that.
