Scott Harrison denied licence to box in Britain

Post by ChrQ »

Just read that the BBBC have denied him in his most recent attempt to regain his boxing licence.

Its hard to feel sorry for him really.

Eddie shouldnt of been lining him up as an opponent for Cardle really. He's shot aside from having had substance abuse problems on and off for quite awhile.

Why are the BBBofC doing this?

They should stop interfering so much and causing trouble.

He's a good opponent for Cardle at this stage of his career.

Harrison went the distance with Walsh last year, so he isn't completely washed up.

I think its becuase he's not been totally clear about outstanding legal issues (as far as im aware he's still expected to go back to Spain to serve a prison sentence of either 4 or 6 years)

According to his twitter he's doing a bit of personal training / fitness instructing. If he can stay clean and sober then this may suit him as i hear he was a solid trainer.

I think the ship has sailed on his boxing career now though

The Cardle fight is definitely gone if he cant get a license, but pretty certain if he wanted to fight that Malta/GBA would give him a license & he could fight on some of the shows that are occuring at the moment.

Never met the guy once in my life but doesn't come across as having the personality of your average personal trainer.
His approach would probably be more along the lines of:
'Dae ah hunner sit up's or al smash ye way this fu<kin dumbbell ya pudendum'

He'd have that X factor thats for sure.

Being scared sh*tless of your trainer could really work in your favour if your naturally a lazy c*nt.
