Week 21 Fight of the Week nominees

Some great fights this week. Take your pick.

For me it's gotta be that title clash between Pac and Panama Al. Some dramatic sh*t, back and forth action. Panama Al scores knockdowns in the 13th and 14th round, but it's still not enough to retain his title.

Zarate vs Gonzalez was another scorcher with Gonzalez started off hot only to get shut down by Carlos Zarate, and a bad cut.

Zarate was still on his knee on the 9 count, barely made it up before 10 and was still wobbly when he finally got up... the ref lets Zarate continue.
Jhonny is never knocked down and gets a small cut, the ref stops it, using the cut as an excuse to save Zarate's ass.
Techno must have some deep pockets, to buy that win.

There was no shortage of great fights this week.

Morales vs McGovern
Zarate vs Gonzalez
Vazquez vs Caballaero

Any other week any of those 3 bouts may be a leading candidate for this award, but this week they have to share company with the spectacular bout that was Panama Al vs Pacquiao.

I feel like Jofre vs Fenech was considerably more one sided than these bouts, and lacked the kind of drama that would be worthy of this award.

I think it would make a great candidate for KO of the Week at least...for Morales.
