Has Froch become a tiny bit punchy?

Has anybody else noticed this? Straight after the Groves fight when Froch was interviewed I thought he sounded a little but punchy, but put it down to maybe just a but of swelling or sore jaw etc as his face was quite beaten.

Since then when I've seen him interviewed I've noticed the same thing, but to a lesser extent. Has anybody else noticed this? It's like he's slight more stuttery or struggles with pronunciations more than he did before. I can't explain it precisely but I've seen loads of interviews with him over the years and I'm certain there is something different about him since that Groves fight.

And for the record, I am not baiting and have been posting here years and am a Froch fan.

Edit: the medical term for it is dementia pugilistica and it's relatively common among boxers who have had long careers and have received a great many blows to the head. Apparently the average onset is 12-16 years after the start of a career in boxing and the condition is thought to affect around 15%-20% of pro boxers.

Haven't noticed tbh but he's taken a serious amount of big shots in his career

I've not noticed anything. I was watching his facebook chat with Groves the other night, and I thought his diction was perfect and he spoke very well - very measured and deliberate with his choice of words.He came over well, I thought.

The interview after the first fight was not his best, but he had just been in an absolute epic and with 20,000 booing (the ref's decision) I think most of us would not gvie a great interview under those circumstances.

I am not referring to the things he says or how he behaves. He comes across completely fine in how he thinks and what he says, I'm just wondering are we beginning to see physical effects of a long an hard career, not mental.

Thought he sounded nasally and maybe with a cold on ringside (was it that or what it the punches on the nose taking some effect I don't know).

He hurt his jaw in the Groves fight. Having listened to him recently, he is fine. A bit of cold maybe in a few interviews.

I think when you watch this Saturday's "Gloves are Off" then you will see he is as sharp as a tack.

But yeah, he sounded jaded on ringside, but he always does sound a bit run down in camp.

He could barely get out of bed for the Pascal presser and looked dreadful - but on the big day he sparkled. I forecast the same here.

anyway looking forward to the final week of build up and then hopefully both guys deliver an epic
