Gomez was unlucky but another close, good fight. Congrats to Jofre, moving 2-1 up now and maybe we might see some others with the conjones to fight him, apart from Gomez

Herman vs Rigo...another draw. Another really close fight. I agree with Geto though these two make boring fights, but boring favors Rigo.

Unbelievable upset KO for Caballero. Slightly off topic, but I think Chandler got screwed out of eligibility for a World Title this week. If his fight with Vazquez had been CORRECTLY ruled a UD win for him, there's a good chance that would've bumped him into the Top 15, and we would be eligible to challenge Caballero next week. Caballero has fought Chandler once...and DIDN'T beat him.

The fact that Gomez was still able to hold Jofre to a split decision and perform as well as he did despite showing up Badly Overweight suggests to me that when he's in Top form he just has Jofre's number.

Yeah Jofre 'under-trained' and Gomez 'badly overweight', would make it an interesting prospect for next time (if there is another).

I honestly though Gomez would have taken the titles this time but that's SIM. Badly overweight, sluggish, slow etc....He has got to do better.
