R.I.P RON SHORT
Boxing has lost another link with the past with the burial of Ron today in Newcastle. Ron wasthe trainer of arguably one of Australia,s best fighters,Hector Thompson, he also had Charlie Brown, Peter Berrigan and other main eventers,Ron saw the good days of a great sport.All The Best

Another sad loss for the sport of Boxing, Ron was a good bloke

I saw him earlier this year, he looked well and was good to chat with as always

RIP Shorty.

No real argument here, Hector Thompson was one of the best, no doubt
