The KO is a tough call as there were a few particularly spectacular ones.

Rafael Marquez's KO of Frankie Neil was a brutal, and sudden KO.

Ruben Olivares overwhelming Bernard Dunne in 1 was very impressive.

McGovern even showing up in less than peak condition was still too much for the Lobster man.

Kid Williams scored A HUGE upset, albeit via controversial stoppage over Erik Morales

For me the one that takes the cake though is Caballero's TKO of Pacquiao. There was no question that the stoppage was legit, and on top of that I thought for sure if I was gonna be reading about KO in that fight it would've been the other way around. Very Impressive win for Caballero.

Ah "ducking" what a fine topic of conversation... But then you would know more about it than most, Mr Buzz.

Few could teach you a lesson in ducking...

As for this decking that you refer to, you wouldn't know too much about it... Decking implies that you've actually fought a certain calibre of opposition. Something that you have spectacularly failed at.

I'm voting for Marquez vs Neil, Marquez was down twice and getting his ass kicked and came back to get the KO which was also a true KO, unlike the Caballero TKO. I know Neil is not managed but hes a very tough opponent for anybody and Marquez is lucky he caught him.

I have to go with Marquez vs Neil, when Marquez was floored for the second time I thought we were done, but Raffy managed to turn it around and dug deep to score the KO we desperately needed.

Well we offered to fight your champ.....is that part of our spectacular fail? Just say yes, and the offer will be withdrawn.

you "read all about it" in the sim news.....blow by blow account of each fight.

For example, my sim fighters would beat down your lame camp so bad that your eye would bloody up and close, and you'd develop a cauliflower ear.

Buzz you're the f*cking King Duck of all time. Nobody that will ever duck in the whole of Sim history will be more of a Duck than Jimmy Barry.

The Poll has closed.

Caballero KO 12 Pac, and Marquez KO 6 Frankie Neil are tied in the Poll. In the Event of a Tie, the tiebreaking vote is on me, and my tiebreaking vote was for Caballero KO 12 Pac.

So that being.

The KO of the Week for Week 22 is

Celestino Caballero TKO 12 Manny Pacquiao

Congratulations Crease. This is the First time that the same fight received both Fight of the Week and KO of the Week honors!!!

The Cabballero v Pacquiao fight wasn't even a proper KO.

I am aware, but it was the most significant stoppage victory of the week by a wide margin, and one of the most impressive. TKO's have won the award before. This isn't new.

The poll was tied, so it wasn't the most significant stoppage victory of the week by a WIDE MARGIN. Caballero and Pacquiao put on a great show this week, and they deserve the fight of the week award, but the KO of the week should have gone to Rafael Marquez, he displayed more balls in that fight than any fighter this week.

Being tied with the KO of the Week is certainly an honorable mention. Rafael Marquez is a big banger, and is sure to have more opportunities at awards like this. It was my judgment call that in the event of the tie Caballero and Pacquiao was the KO of the Week this award.

Not solely my judgment mind you, but best 2 out of 3 between the 2 Commissioners and myself. Given that Caballero is Crease's man, I think there's a safe bet that it's at least a 2 to 3 vote in favor of Caballero KO over Pacquiao wouldn't you?

I'm sorry Frilla. Your fighter is hella entertaining, and will surely be up for more accolades in his Sim future. This was as close as you can get without the award. Don't feel bad.
