I subscribe to Boxing Monthly (well actually I got a subscription as a gift a few years ago & have just kept it going). A good read each month :TU:

I used to subscribe to both Boxing News and Boxing Monthly.
Canned them both 10 years ago, didn't see the point after finding out how to use the internet.
I now have The Economist, Private Eye, New Scientist, TES, Science Focus and Aesthetica. I rarely read more than half of each issue.

Got BN for a long time, stopped about 7 years ago after getting so much info from websites/forums etc that i was just at saturation point.

Got a subscription for Boxing Monthly for Xmas this year, must admit i've been surprised at how much i've enjoyed it, some great writing and in depth features, makes a change from reading the ramblings of semi literate morons (myself included) on the internet.

Also subscribe to National Geographic, and occasionally buy Terrorizer and Iron Fist (music mags - metal)

Have you seen that milf magazine? The newsagent in town hasn't clicked it's a top shelf magazine and puts it next to peoples choice etc.

I have always felt that magazine Readers Wives was a really good way to help you keep that commandment about not coveting thy neighbours wife.

I couldnt stand the embarrasment of buying a porn magazine. I know when I got to the front of the queue the sad old newsagent would be just getting off for his break to be replaced by an scornful young female Psychology graduate who can see what a weak and sinful man I am as I blink furiously trying to keep the sweat from pouring into my eyes. She would hold the magazine up and shout to the the lady stacking shelves at the back "the wrappers come off this one can you tell me how much this months Large Thruppeny Bits is"

So I sometimes buy Boxing News if a mate is in it, or Carve magazine which is the best surfing publicatnon around.

Thanks for the humourous replies! :OhYes:

Picked up Boxing News the last couple of weeks and I enjoy reading it on my commute.

Does anyone who subscribes to Boxing News know if it gets delivered every week? Or do they just send you four a month or something?

I think they get sent out on a Tuesday or Wednesday to be delivered on Thursday - they are really reliable as well (I hear); I get mine from the same place I did when I started in '87 - I considered subscribing but I like to see them.
