It looks to me like he's just out for a laugh and enjoys being part of the big show. I thought he was deadly serious at first but it's clear the man can laugh at himself and is enjoying things. He was shouting stuff at Groves etc and after a fight with the gingerbread man but when the lights kept cutting out at a press conference he acted like he was proper scared. I imagine he'd be a handful with a belly full of beer (and a mankini)

I remember Froch on BBC. I also vaguely remember a cheesy animated comic-esque video the BBC had of Carl Froch and a Cobra in order to market him as 'The Cobra' ........ I doubt anyone remembers that!

I wasn't disputing that. I just meant that he was good at selling himself. He knew what he was, and was good at selling it. For example, before the Pac fight, he managed to get one of the best fighters in the world over to Manchester to play darts with him in his local pub.
Ricky was good at being himself in front of the camera, and coming across as likeable. Amir Khan isn't good as coming across as likeable. Amir Khan is good at being a tithead.

Not got proof but a lad at the gym works there and that was the attendance he was given.
I have been to a few Amir Khan shows and seen 10,000 Arena's filled up, 2,500 ? That's a joke, the show could not go ahead on such a low attendance, do you know how much the Purses alone cost ? Anyone in their right mind would not believe that rubbish, Khan always draws crowds no matter what the Khan haters biased minds think, amazing how a positive post on Khan can turn to something real negative, fairly quickly and how it can be changed to something else, not related to the original title " Props to Khan " as it was not " Fans to Khan " lol.

when Terry Flanagan was boxing Nate Campbell (which is an inappropriate choice of words for that fight as Campbell didn't do a thing) - or say, the Gary Sykes fight - you could pretty much leave your seat and go sit 2 or 3 blocks in front if you wanted. As Ogogo was boxing his opponent which was slotted in just before Khan's fight I believe, it was getting busier. By the time Khan fought however, had you opted to gamble on taking one of the empty seats near the ring, the ticketholder would have been back in 99% of cases and you'd have had to get your own seat back. Yes, some blocks on the far side looked shut off from top to bottom, but aside from that the attendance was very healthy.
