Groves on points or Froch in 4, I'm undecided and will commit come game time. I think I want groves purely because he can be our super middle future. I do worry that if it's close enough to stiff groves on a decision then he will get stiffed, but playing a straight bat groves has a huge opportunity to box and run all night to a landslide.

I will stick my kneck out on Groves winning 6th round KO. Such a big speed difference and that rd 1 knockdown in the first fight was a big one. Add in he hasn't had the Booth issue, ref that will clamp down on any dirty play, much more confidence and crowd support than last time.

Yeah, add me to the list of those who fancy a reversal of the first fight: a physically stronger Froch looking to finish it in 4 or 5 rounds, with Groves now confident of his ability to outpoint Froch down the stretch if he gets there relatively unharmed.

Given the tendency for rematches to disappoint, though, I'll say Groves on points. If he gets through the roughhousing I'm expecting from Froch early doors, I think he'll have more speed and stronger legs in the later rounds.

It's funny how a lot of us once said the same about 'Boots' versus Calzaghe; that Carl was fearless and Joe was tentative.

It's easier to be brave when you've got nothing to lose, I guess.

Frock won't underestimate Groves this time, his defence will be tighter & won't get caught with the big shots like the first fight.

End will be similar, md to late rounds with Froch's power & experience getting the stoppage. Hopefully the Ref let Froch score a brutal *~*@ing knockout so Groves can't whine & moan about the finish again!

Right now the weigh in is done. I'm saying Groves tko round 4 or by points. Already want to change my mind. But these Splinters are getting right up my arse.

Now off the fence all of you...

Thought long and hard about this and there can be a number of different outcomes but I'm gonna go for Groves on points, I think Groves will nick, the early rounds in a low key fight, and by the time Froch comes on strong it will be too late.
A draw is a great value bet though.
