Just read this below.

I for one hope ticket sales are poor for this.

Haye was on Talksport on tuesday, asked about Fury he said he wouldn't fight him because 'he's got no titles'. Moments later Haye said he himself wouldn't be in the title mix for a 'couple of years'.

Which is it?

PS - where do I book the non-refundable hotel and train travel??

Was a huge Haye fan from his amateur days but nowadays I take any announcement about him with bag of salt, not just a pinch.

If true, good luck to him but the non effort against Wlad (after all the talking) & the Fury withdrawals has left me pretty feeling apathetic.

He certainly hasn't done himself any favours with the boxing fans. Joe public will still buy tickets as he is a big name

I know. He'll talk a good build up though.

Will be interesting to see who he has lined up. By the time he gets in the ring, he'll have fought five rounds in over 3 years. I don't suppose he'll be in against anyone too tough but they can hardly go in against a journeyman either.

The winner of Chisora Fury makes sense financially although I don't know if Fury would be interested.

A brawl with Fury at the post fight press conference would make for a big money fight at the end of the year ;)

I wish David would just call his absences from the ring 'career breaks' or 'down time' and he'd save himself so much bother. The retirement word just creates ill-will and makes people feel cynical towards him.

He'd be far better-off just telling it like is which is basically; I don't feel like fighting right now and I am taking some time off but you'll see me back when I am ready and the right fights which I want to take are out there for me.

Nobody could really argue with that - it is direct, straightforward - and does not treat the fans like mugs.

Got as far as "scroll down to watch David Haye play online poker in a Lamborghini" and thought that's enough for me

I saw an interview with him a while ago where he said he's unlikely to arrange another fight with fury because fury wont be interested now he's been messed about so much. He also said he knows if it had been him messed about he wouldnt be interested either so cant blame him.
