More muscle can quite often affect your cardio negatively aswell so could be a bad move. Could be a good move if he gets him out of there early.

Groves looks a little on the dry side, but no problem, 30 hours or so to rehydrate, not only is he going to be faster than Froch, i reckon he could be about 7lb heavier.

That MC they used was awful. Seemed like he was trying to impersonate Buffer and Lennon Jr at the same time.

Yeah I was there. Some guy trying to get onto the stage, the security didn't want to let him on, then he broke through. Not sure what happened.

Crikey there were some idiots kicking about today! A bit disconcerting. Boxing crowds always make me feel on edge. It's part of the fun, like. But there's always these teams of lads being very pissed and charlied up: there'll be the smaller mouthy ones that start it and there's the massive fuckers that'll finish it. I usually go with some quite hard lads so hopefully we'll be alright, but there'll be some muppets there for sure. I was on my own, and listening to the way some of these blokes speak made me cringe.

Froch looked big, I thought. I thought Groves would weigh more.

I hated the booing: for Froch, for Groves, for Degale (who just seems to get booed no matter what). I liked the crowd response for the Thai lad, with everyone laughing at his long unpronounceable name and then giving him a great reception. Is he any good?

Don't worry about it. I've never been to a boxing match where there WASN'T trouble, but aside from some idiots trying to get me involved with a fight with security at Groves-Degale (they seemed to assume I was on their side and were sort of trying to pull me into the scuffle, like the security pushed this pudendum back and he sort of tried to pull me with him, I suppose so it seemed like the security had pushed me as well. I was more bemused by it than anything it just seemed silly) I've never been involved or even had a cross word said to me, touch wood. People are generally extraordinarily friendly once you're in your seats, I've found.

The only thing about this one is that it will be a genuinely split crowd, 50/50 Northern monkeys/Southern fairies.

I will be a weird one in that I'll be the Southerner supporting Froch. I don't suppose I'll be the only one. Froch got mostly boos today because it's in London and most of the lads in there will be southerners (judging by the comments on Facebook and stuff, this is turning into quite a north/south thing), but that'll change come tomorrow when more of the away fans arrive.

It'll be interesting.
