One point to make -Sky commentary - absolutely abysmal not at all objective.

The commentary was awful, the usual bias towards the "home" fighter, was actually glad when amir khan showed jim watt up, and how dave whatever can comment on fighters is beyond me

I thought Groves fought a very sensible fight and was clearly in front. He was showing signs of dominating more the longer the fight went on. How the Sky team had Froch ahead on points I'll never know. Yes he poked the jab but it hardly landed for the most part.

One brilliant shot from Froch, I doubt he's ever thrown a better punch than that. Fair result, no argument but the commentators were talking absolute bllx.

Agree, Expe...fight was closer, Froch was better....but for me Groves was still ahead....getting close to 3 up with 4 to play.

Yep.

I don't know what it is with Froch fans and thinking that so many people disrespect him as a fighter or don't give him his due. He was probably the forum favorite, he was the betting favorite, and there were also a fair number of people who were critical of Groves. Based on the first fight, there was nothing wrong with picking Groves.

Watt and co were up to some silliness but nobody was getting outboxed in that ring tonight. Close fight again.

Some of the stuff on here in recent weeks would have you think Groves was gonna have an easy nights work. Nobody has an easy nights work against Froch ( unless you are called Andre Ward and that was only relatively easy )
