Hell yeah,he should be proud he's only been in the bizz 5 minutes but he's put on a lot of great shows

I heard him and Dad talking about a120,000 capacity show on Sky,i wonder if this fight could put boxing right on the map in the UK,if we can make Groves a household name in a few months then after we bring Degale,Callum Smith etc into the equation then UK SMW division looks epic(yet again,what is it with British SMW's?)

When I was a kid we had decent lightweights & welterweights. We're getting bigger as a nation.

Eddie certainly is shaking things up. What I like is his hunger to deliver fights that the British public want to see. Cleverly Vs. Bellew II will be next, and following last nights spectacle I wouldn't be surprised if Khan Vs. Brook and Quigg Vs. Frampton happen in the next 12 months. Surely it's only a matter of time until Matchroom sign up the remaining talent scattered around the other UK promoters.

Lol when was that the 30s? Britain had very good mws in the 70s and 80s. Finnegan,minter,sibson,Graham,Watson,Benn and Eubanks.it's not a new thing.

Yup, Eddie is no doubt feeling decidely chipper today and will have treated himself to another shiny, handmade suit. Meanwhile over that Warren household......Christmas in cancellled!
