Raymond Bonnel is listed as European light-heavyweight champion in 1923 (not only in Boxrec). Isn't this one of the myths which has been copied from older records when it was assumed that Siki was champion when he fought and was disqualified against Morelle? In fact Morelle was French champion and was supposed to defend his title against Siki but when the fight took place no title was at stake (as is explained in Boxrec). When Morelle then fought Bonnel only the French light-heavyweight title was at stake. In 1924 Bonnel then fought Clément for the vacant European title.
