Hey somebody's always gotta be the ass end of the ass kicking.

An extremely tough choice here as Pac's last minute KO of Pete Herman was the stuff of legend, but I don't know if it was such a great fight overall really. Pete Herman was kicking his ass pretty thoroughly up until then.

Ruben's rematch with Wilfredo Vazquez wasn't quite as awesome as the first one, but it was pretty f*cking badass nonetheless and saw both men on the canvas again and lots of heavy leather traded. Ruben controlled longer stretches of this bout, and stretched Vazquez emphatically in the 8th setting the two up for what is sure to be an EPIC Rubber Match later in the season.

I gotta go with Ruben vs Vazquez 2.

I thought Pacquiao vs Herman could win this award, but if I'm being honest, it was one-sided until the final blow.

Gomez vs Brown was a bit more of a barnburner, so I voted for that.

It's a tough week to pick just one.

That's another one where the winner pulled it out of the fire. Panama Al was well ahead up until then.

This would have actually gotten my vote. I thought it was a brilliant bout.

I thought I did nominate that one, but I guess it slipped my mind. At the last minute. It's more worthy than some of the other candidates I left in. I had to eliminate a few of the lower ones because the Poll can't exceed 10, but that's one I definitely intended to leave in.

Nonetheless. I think there were other fights superior to that one (from a Fight fan's perspective) even though my Man was in it. Morales and Rigondeaux are definitely 2 World Class operators though, and put on a show of Elite Level Boxing at it's finest.
