Well Done to James McDonnell

Post by stujones »

If you have recieved the January addition of Boxing Monthly you can see a fair few contributions from Boxrec's #1 poster James McDonnell in the quotes of 2005 bit.

Its nice to see the guys from BM read James' stuff.

It's good to get name checked. BM certainly like MaxBoxing...it is a very good site indeed.

Well done :TU:

Eh...what? What's all that about, someone care to enlighten me?

Taken a bit of a sabbatical from boxing lately, just returned with my first article in 3 months yesterday, inspired, if that's what you could call it by Audley and Danny's paucity of effort.

Where were the quotes from?

Boxing Monthly did an end of year section called quotes of 2005 and a few quotes from your articles/interviews over the year got included.

They quote your prediction of Hoye vs Woods.

Also your funny quote on the TV situation concerning Morales vs Pacquiao not shown live in the UK.

It wasn't done in a sarcastic way (as BM often do for their end of year mag) - it just shows that they like reading your work.

Well, I have to say that's revitalised me a bit, was getting very jaded and doubtful about why I bother writing anything of late.

Yeah, you should be honoured - your quotes were in the middle of some well respected paid Journos.
