The problem is that there are only 34 fighters in the Sim, so filling all the spots in the tourny would leave just two guys, and putting unsigned fighters in one group and not another is unfair, so we decided the final 8 spots would go to unsigned fighters so each group would have one and the sim could operate outside of the tournament.

All was clearly stated here in this thread.

Now, personally I don't care if we let more guys in, but I also want the majority to be in agreeance with the decision.

These had to occur for three reasons:

1. It means that the top half of the draw (Groups A-D) have Two World Titles and 1 minor belt, and ditto for the bottom half (Groups E-H).

2. It separated all the six titles, it meant that each of them had a group of their own.

Look it's very unfortunate that your man Jimmy Barry suffered from brittle hands in his bout with Chandler. I know something about this sort of thing myself as last year my fighter Joey Maxim lost via hand injury to Eric Crumble for F*ck's sake

It's definitely the worst way to lose, it's unsatisfying for the fans, the fighters (both winner and loser), and the boxing media in general for a fight to come to an undecisive conclusion like that...but sometimes that's just the way she goes.

I assure you Jeff Chandler did nothing unfair or against the rules in his bout with Barry. Chandler is an honest competitor.
