Re: The official RBR thread 7th June 2014
is hall making a fight of it, applying any pressure yet?
Re: The official RBR thread 7th June 2014
Three in a row for Hall.
Reminding me a bit of Cotto-Margarito I.

68-66 Butler
Re: The official RBR thread 7th June 2014
I dont think Butler is getting quite as bashed up as Cotto was though lolcrusader wrote:Three in a row for Hall.

Re: The official RBR thread 7th June 2014
heated up yet? we've had outstanding battles at bantam, McDonnell-hall, hall-malinga, McDonnell-ceja. does this have similar intensity?

He's... Being Stuey Hall. Incredibly slow start, heavy jab, massive physical presence but he's definitely been bothered by the cut & Butler's athleticism. Looks about two weight classes bigger. Hurt Butler more than he managed to do to Haskins imo. But a similar pattern to the fight, Hall just not quick enough.Autobarn wrote:is hall making a fight of it, applying any pressure yet?
He needs to push, & hard, if he's gonna come away with a win here.
PPS: Like he's doing now!

Lumbers around like lurch to be honest but definietly doing better in these later rounds.Datsue wrote:He's... Being Stuey Hall. Stuart Hall is really coming on strong in the last few rounds. The fight is probably even now.
Re: The official RBR thread 7th June 2014
78-75 Butler
Re: The official RBR thread 7th June 2014
No, but like that bout a small, faster, more skilled fighter dominated the early rounds with boxing, while the relatively slow and clumsy but stronger fighter is now imposing himself.columbo wrote:I dont think Butler is getting quite as bashed up as Cotto was though lolcrusader wrote:Three in a row for Hall.

4 in a row for Hall
Re: The official RBR thread 7th June 2014
that's what I like to hear, lads. sounds like he needs to seriously slow his man down with body shots then set up the big hooks and crosses to head.
Re: The official RBR thread 7th June 2014
Yeah the way it's playing out is very similar.crusader wrote:No, but like that bout a small, faster, more skilled fighter dominated the early rounds with boxing, while the relatively slow and clumsy but stronger fighter is now imposing himself.columbo wrote:I dont think Butler is getting quite as bashed up as Cotto was though lolcrusader wrote:Three in a row for Hall.

Re: The official RBR thread 7th June 2014
is butler going to do anything about it - any signs?
Re: The official RBR thread 7th June 2014
Round 9 was close, I'd probably still favor Hall in that, but it was close.
5-4 Hall
5-4 Hall

Hall is now the betting favourite.
Re: The official RBR thread 7th June 2014
Do you think Butler would stay at the weight even if he won?
Re: The official RBR thread 7th June 2014
hall doing any serious damage?
Re: The official RBR thread 7th June 2014
Butler's style looks like it will use up a lot of energy over the course of a fight.
Re: The official RBR thread 7th June 2014
Good 10th for Hall
