Of course. I was speaking to a broader point though, that being that steroids don't have to make you especially good to have a positive impact on your ability.

I also say 'maybe' because while it seems likely that going off the drugs impaired him, the bad loss to John McD and the mess of being caught and thereafter stigmatized within the boxing community could've thrown him off too.

Guys, you've also got to consider that the lads Larry is being matched with now are actually trying to win. The lads he was beating before his fall from grace (with the exception of John Mc) were there to lose and even then Daniel Peret managed to turn him over.

I've never really understood people getting excited about Larry. Unlike other a muscle man underachievers like say Pele Reid, Larry never even managed one good performance. Granted he was 'big' but he was also obviously rubbish! Lol

It should be obvious, but I see people use the logic all the time-- 'he's not very good so the drugs probably didn't work'/'I doubt they're using if they're this bad'.

Well I guess its better than the arguements that I've heard that the only reason DLH beat Vargas and looked good in "defeat" against Mosley was because they were on the juice.
