Im quite surprised that the article went on about Macklins ties to people involved in organised crime,whats does that have to do with him being involved in some skirmish??


It reminds of when Groves pulled out of the Anderson rematch due to alledged death threats and the Daily Record im sure it was,done piece on Kenny being involved with some shady people even though there was nothing at all to suggest he was involved in the "threats"

It's because the gangsters are bigger names in Ireland than Macklin. If Curtis Warren attacked Martin Murray in St Helens, no one would hardly mention Murray(except Rainford).
