Its a no-brainer..... Magee will beat Froch!

Post by ALI »

You heard it hear first. Magee will comfortably beat Froch on 31st March.

Froch is over-hyped to the maximum. He is a million miles away from being the world beater that so many on here believe him to be. Magee is just the right man to expose the myth.

Now is exactly the right time for Froch to be exposed for what he is, a Hennessey hype job!

Overated or not, I can see Froch sparking Magee when they meet.

Ali must be smoking do erb!

CF is nowhere near as good as little Mick makes out but to be fair he does a good PR job on a mediocre fighter.

However, average (Or may be a bit above) CF is he will smash Magee
who is seriously overrated and does not have the heart for a fight.

Froch inside 5. :TU:

Froch's genuine power + Magee's dodgy chin = early night for Carl Froch.

Magee does have the ability to cause Froch a few problems. Without the knockdowns he would have beaten Reid fairly handily and his only other loss was a robbery.

Expect Magee to try and avoid getting hit and make the fight ugly with lots of holding. I see it going the distance with Magee having visited the canvas twice and I reckon it will be fairly tight on the scorecards.

Magee should be an interesting test for Froch, maybe for 6 rounds or so, but Froch will knock him out.

Froch can deal with an ugly fight well, (see Valary Odin and Mathew Barny fights). Seems to want the fight aswell I think Maggee should test froch's cin and answer those questions about weather froch's left hand is really daft or works okay for him.

If Froch wins in style it will answer a lot of questions as we know Maggee's level and should be able to gage froch's level in comparison. Would like to see the two of them get a making time fight in between the two though.

:o Was about to say...shock! as boxingchat alledgedly does not completely rip apart a non Sports Network fighter/promoter/manager/cornerman/TV network/judge/insert appropriate in one of his posts. Balance your SN propeganda and unwarrented gloating out with this stuff boxing chat, and you may well survive the New Year

Jomothepure,

Oh I don't know what you mean. Boxingchat has repeatedly said that he is not affiliated with Sports Network and would slag them off when their due.

Funny, that then. SN not spelling Jeff Lacy's name correctly in the advertising on the ring on Saturday.... No Criticism.

The pull out of the intriguing Magee vs Takaloo clash, with no opponent for either boxer on Saturday... No criticisms.

a lot in it for both parties. Froch terrestrial tele and a possible match up with Calzaghe SN a marcetable and talented british star. Shame for Hennessy who is a good promoter and puts on top british shows.

Just read his interview in the latest Box monthly, a few weeks before the purse bids, and Froch actualy says he'd like to fight Magee in Ireland.

So he wont be disappointed then....

This is great.......... i'm the only one on this entire forum who envisions a relatively comfortable victory for Magee, be it a knock-out or on points.

I find it very strange though as its definate'ly a no-brainer for me, why nobody else can see it as i do beffudles me

Froch will be exposed by Magee!

Fair play to you ALI, your putting your money where your mouth is (so to speak) but like you I see this as a no-brainer.....Froch will win no matter how easy or hard the fight turns out to be.

Magee's best chance of making a fight of it (and I use the term "fight" loosely) is to continue his dire tactics of one-two and grab.

If Brian comes to box or fight cleanly Froch will give him a thumping.
