When a fighter pull out of a fight after the fight has been scheduled (or something like that) they can be mandatory challengers (they have a * after their names) but they can still fight for the belt .Max Molyneux wrote:Why can't Eastman be a mandatory challenger?
Why not put Matt Skelton for the mandatory then since he ain't lost a fight yet when Krasniqi just did?
Piccirllo maybe better but still doesn't sound fair as he just lost a title attempt.
EBU makes the best fighters (or in their opinion the best) mandatory challenger eventhough they might have lost their last fight, that should make the best available fights.

Luan was the title holder and had to give up the title as he fought for a World title. After his loss he is the #1 contender again. That´s normal. Skelton has only a chance to fight for the title when all the better guys like Sam, Valuev, Wladi or Luan won´t fight for the title. I´ve heard that Sam is interested in fighting the Vidoz-Koc winner. Skelton should first of all win win against a good and solid Top ten Euro boxer. Or do you want Harrison to fight for the EBU title?Max Molyneux wrote:Why can't Eastman be a mandatory challenger?
