You misread, he said a well known traveller (who knows John Fury very well) thinks Tyson would've lost to Haye and isn't training properly for Chisora.

I think Tyson Fury was a very live opponent in the Haye fight. Naturally you'd have to side with David Haye being the favourite though.

Tyson has put on some very patient and measured performances, other times he has been mediocre and at worst, downright reckless.

However when he's been down, he's got back up and has a big appetite for a scrap. But Haye has that thunderous punch and 100% belief in himself that his speed and guile would enable him to land it. Repeatedly.

It was a very interesting fight indeed and a big shame (for whatever reason) it never happened.

I think Haye's tactics would have been more important than Fury's. I could see him crouching and pawing with that jab and Fury unable to get near him until Haye hit him properly, then it would have all been over quite quickly imo. Although I'd have rather Fury won as he's 1000 times more interesting and seems a much nicer bloke.

Yep. Haye is quality, no doubt, but a lot of people grossly underestimate Fury. When he's switched on he's seriously capable. If he had an off switch for the scrapper in him and could box 'boring' he'd not get tagged like he does and would be very difficult to beat but then he wouldn't be Tyson. There isn't a more exciting heavyweight anywhere than Fury right now.

In 2/3 years people will look back at the Fury-Haye thing and laugh at themselves for ever thinking Fury would have beat him.

Its not too dissimilar to Haye-Enzo. So many were saying Enzo was too tough, hit too hard for the pretty boy Haye etc, it was almost a 50-50 fight beforehand. How ridiculous does that look now?

I do think Tyson is really intelligent guy and he think he gets bored when he's not faced with a challenge. I think he would have been on his best behaviour against Haye and would have really given it a go. I don't think he's interested in the Chisora rematch and I don't think he will be in great shape, physically or mentally. I think Tyson thinks it's an easy fight and it should be, but if I'm right and he doesn't take it seriously, Chisora might win.
