Arthur Gomez was special.

I was there, mate, and it topped anything I've been to in sport. It was all the more exciting as I was there for Gomez and the febrile nature of the Scots gave the night an edge.

If i could choose one fight to have been at... Atmosphere looked amazing

I was lucky enough to be ringside for Moore Macklin - so thats my live choice

Seen 2 ABA bouts this season worthy as being best fights both featuring jack flatley of Northwest 1 he beat last years ABA champion Scott Fitzgerald what a bout toe to toe

I was at this and at ringside. amazing to be so close in such a good fight. Boxing close up is very different from TV or a long way away - you can feel the hurt and punches. (I'm talking Ingle McMillan)

Wish Sky stilll did their "Classic Fights" programme.

My mate taped Barrera vs Morales 1 for me off that show about 15 years ago. I must've have watch that fight 30 times in the few weeks he lent me that tape!

Brilliantly brutal fight and my personal favourite.

That one tops the list for me too, just because that was the point in time when i was completely obsessed with boxing, i was fighting regularly at the time and can remembering cursing the lord that i was born a 6'3" light heavy rather than a 5 foot Mexican!

Barrera vs Morales 1 tops my list as well - i wont attempt to explain why, no words i could string together would even come close to expressing just how good that fight was.
