1:49 It looks like Marquez has reopened Chandler's previous wound because Chandler is now bleeding once again. 2:14
1:49 Chandler is wiping his eye with his glove. The gash on his eyelid has started to spout blood once again and Chandler is going to have to wage war with only one good eye to see his opponent. 2:14
1:49 * Chandler seems to be having some difficulty seeing. It's not that he's bleeding all that badly but the location of the cut - over the eye - makes it a bit more serious. And talk about timing, the referee has stepped in and momentarily stopped the fight. He's looking at the cut above Chandler's eye and is now leading him toward the ringside physician. 2:14
1:54 * Referee Perez Pineda is calling a halt to this fight. * That's all she wrote, folks! The cut over Chandler's eye has just become too bad for him to continue. This fight is history. Marquez wins via TKO! 2:14

Fight Result

0:59 That punch has reopened a cut on Gomez as once again you can see blood on the face of Wilfredo Gomez. 0:8
0:59 Gomez's nose has started to bleed again. 0:8
0:59 * There's a sudden halt in the action and we're not sure why. Oh, apparently there's some concern on the part of Referee Bayless about the amount of blood on the face of Gomez. 1:04 * Bayless has stopped the fight. * This one is over! Gomez is unable to continue due to the severity of the cut over his eye. Harada gets the TKO victory! 0:8

They only scored 9 rounds. It just looks different to look at it, but you'll notice there are only 9 scored rounds there.

What I find most confusing about that is "Bayless is taking him to the ringside doctor, that cut is considered serious even though it's not Over Gomez's eye"

and then seconds later "That's it, the fight is being stopped because of the cut over Gomez's eye" :??

Somebody needs to make up their mind where the cut is.

Well the scores after 10 would have left Gomez the Champion (on points), add to that the additional non played out rounds and the dubious cut incident, I think it's only fair to do this one again and null the 1st result......but we shall see what the Commish decides :salut:

To say we feel hard done by is a bit of an understatement.

Credit to Harada, though. He started the SIM slow, but man, the guy is turning up the heat now!
