Post by fightscorecollector »

35 press scores with an ave score of 114-112 Provodnikov. My card read 14-113 Provodnikov, punchstats and percentages of the bout.

Comments welcome and how did you score it????

Close and competitive, scores show that, can't complain.

Don't understand how anyone can give nearly every round to Ruslan. Walking forward without throwing anything and constantly getting hit doesn't win you rounds. I didn't score the fight but I think Algieri won. Provo definitely won 4/5 rounds so I'm not sure who I would hve winning it considering the two kds but jsut don't understand the 117-119s for Provodnikov.

115-111 Provodnikov.

Algieri did well in the early-mid rounds but I thought Ruslan stepped it up, or should I say did enough, to win enough of the later rounds for the victory, if you include the kd's. A mixture of things could've swayed the judges but honestly, Provodnikov should've put it beyond them.

He either didn't take Algieri seriously enough(I say this after seeing how many times Ruslan patted Chris on the head during presses, at the weigh in and again before the fight) or he's just not that good when up against anyone with any movement or ability. I mean, Bradley did make the fight by standing with Ruslan. I still think he beat Algieri on Saturday night though.

115-112 Algieri. Have noticed that on the forums Algieri is favoured whilst the boxing press side with Provodnikov.
