Has Wayne McCulloch officially retired?

Post by jomothepure »

I'm wondering if I've missed something totally here.

I was just reading a piece in today's Scotsman about Alex Arthur, and how he was going over to use McCulloch's gym in Las Vegas over the New Year. But he was also quoted as saying that McCulloch would be helping him out "now that he has officially retired."

Is this fact?

I don't think he has, I think BBN did a piece on him not so longer ago where he said he was definately going to continue.

Good spot, Stu.

From Terry Dooley's interview Britishboxing.net carried on 6/12:

"Hello Wayne, firstly I wanted to ask if this book means we have seen the last of you in a boxing ring?

WM: No it is not the end, I'm not sure when I'll get back in the ring but I'm looking to get back to America after this weekend to speak with Dan Goosen and try to work something out for February or March."

I'd prefer him to retire, but you just know he isn't going to.
