Murray vs Bursak RBR
Re: Murray vs Bursak RBR
I've heard of waiting for the other guy to wear out, but Masternak is doing that to the extreme, he's done fvck all so far. 6 rounds in, 6 rounds to Kalenga.

The "plan" finally starting to work...
Re: Murray vs Bursak RBR
What a great job to have if they actually get to travel, there aren't many people in the crowd and I haven't seen Jones or Rawling but that may be because the picture quality is dreadful on BN right now.digzee wrote:I was just thinking that about this show.Shambles wrote:Do the allegedly commentators actually go the fights or do they watch them from a studio here?
Kalenga has really slowed, Masternak could even get the stoppage and I couldn't have imagined that a few rounds ago.

Got Masternak needing a KO
Re: Murray vs Bursak RBR
Talk about being risk averse....Kalenga is knackered and Masternak is still just pawing away.

Actually Kalenga Vs Lebedev...mmmmm!

Re: Murray vs Bursak RBR
Had it 8-3-1 to Kalenga.
Re: Murray vs Bursak RBR
Whoever taught Masternak to box has genuinely done a fantastic job, because he's fighting at a high level as a professional, when from what I can see, he has very little natural ability or talent. Everything you can teach he does very well, good technically, footwork's sound, but everything you can't teach, the instincts of what to do in the ring, to control the pace of a fight, when to back off to, when to come forward, he has no clue about, he's one paced, backs off at the first sign of trouble and doesn't seem to be able to just go for it and try to end the fight.
Re: Murray vs Bursak RBR
Eh, split decision, Jesus. Still, at least the right man won.
Re: Murray vs Bursak RBR
How did one of those judges find 7 rounds to give to Masternak, he hardly threw anything for the first 6 rounds :??
Re: Murray vs Bursak RBR
Interesting point Expe, makes a lot of sense. Can't teach ambition either it would seem.....expe wrote:Whoever taught Masternak to box has genuinely done a fantastic job, because he's fighting at a high level as a professional, when from what I can see, he has very little natural ability or talent. Who sees Murray/Bursak going 12 rounds? I think it just might do. The lack of atmosphere in Monte Carlo is underwhelming, must be hard for Murray to motivate himself...

Can't agree with the comms there, Cotto wasn't lucky due to Murray damaging Martinez, Murray was fortunate for what Chavez did in round 12. Murray failed to finish off the corpse of Martinez.

Yep not exactly catching fire so far. Bit of a 0-0 draw......Neil Gee wrote:Who sees Murray/Bursak going 12 rounds? I think it just might do. The lack of atmosphere in Monte Carlo is underwhelming, must be hard for Murray to motivate himself...
Re: Murray vs Bursak RBR
I have it 39-38, but I'm really struggling to get into this one, no atmosphere and little happening in the fight, a lot of wrestling and spoiling.

Murray making Klitschko jealous!
Murray winning on all 3 cars
Murray winning on all 3 cars
Re: Murray vs Bursak RBR
No, this isn't impressive from Murray, but like I said it must be difficult to get motivated, he's probably winning, but he is away from home...
Re: Murray vs Bursak RBR
all the cards @ 39-37 Murray, cant argue with that much, but it really isnt much of a watch.

He's the promoters boy.Neil Gee wrote:No, this isn't impressive from Murray, but like I said it must be difficult to get motivated, he's probably winning, but he is away from home...
We need to stop defending his poor performances by saying he can't get up for it. I guess he couldn't get up for finishing off the walking wounded in Argentina either...

Re: Murray vs Bursak RBR
More like it from Murray in the sixth... & he's started fighting inside!
Re: Murray vs Bursak RBR
Ooh that's harsh! Yet it's hard not to argue that Murray should be more committed, Bursak is a former Euro champ with pedigree so he (M) should be up for it...Boxing Prospect wrote:He's the promoters boy.Neil Gee wrote:No, this isn't impressive from Murray, but like I said it must be difficult to get motivated, he's probably winning, but he is away from home...
