steve bunce-sinister,creepy,weird moment -martin murray show

Post by Bricks »

Just when this fat oaf starts to impress me for his ability to keep 9 hour telecasts interesting.....we get another of his "eeees brown bread is Joe Frazier" moments....we all know of his sexism with that female journalist......but what the he'll was this all about during he Martin Murray telecast....when he slowed down the camera down to show a rather attractive blond in her early 40s grimacing at a punch landed during the cruiser bout.......and said "look at that neck....I'm going to teleport a message to her...it's only going to get worse love"......what a horrible creepy arsehole the missus said..and I agree....did bunce with his 20 stone frame and failed hair transplant hit on this woman at ringside in the past?...and she told him to eff himself?......why be so nasty?

It was creepy, but to be fair the Golden Gloves telecast was also creepy in its pervy nature.
Barry Jones seemed the only one fully aware, and to his credit just focused on the boxing.

But in mugabi's case I always assumed there was something wrong with his space-bar.

PS: Dear old Barry's attempts to concentrate on the boxing deserved a medal. Poor bastard. Occasionally he sounds like someone's keeper/helper, who's had to go out with him into society & is constantly embarrassed by his charge's behaviour.

[something creepy/weird/inappropriate]

"Heh-heh-heh-uh. Yeah, anyway, nice jab, wasn't it?"

[something creepy/weird/inappropriate]

"Ha-ha, yes. Mind, look at that jab, textbook stuff."

Etc etc etc. What a thankless task.

Bunce is a brainless lout. You watch one of these broadcasts in the worst, lowest pub and Bunce's babble is totally indistinguishable from the voices around you.

Bounce is very good and is genuine, he doesn't filter everything though a 'should I say this, I'm on television' persona.

More power to Bunce and his occasionally stupid remarks, don't we all make them from time to time?

(If he's got any Shaun Gray bouts recorded I'd buy a copy pronto).

Bunce is totally unprofessional. I remember how he used to continually find amusement in Denis Lebedev's looks - whom I have read was born with a cleft lip. On another note he is very much an apologist for the alphabet boys and promoters who have carved up this sport. Only an eager Bunce (with sidekick Lillis) would start speculating that the WBA could and should make the Haye-Fury fight for another new WBA regular title literally minutes after the Wlad-Povetkin fight. Only Bunce would find joy in Lou DiBella saying that then WBC champ Sergio Martinez was going nowhere near Gennady Golovkin and screw the fans in response to the suggestion of a fight between them - a beautiful answer according to supposed fight fan Bunce. And only Bunce (somebody paid to watch boxing of course) would actually tell fans "moaning" about having to pay PPV for Froch-Kessler II to go and watch tiddlywinks or go and play netball whilst at the same time he himself would never have anything to say on such things as the huge amount in fees charged by the IBF and WBA for that fight - with the Super Six results fresh in everyone's minds and very relevant - nor anything to say about how their totally spurious involvement for that fight would of course boost sales - possibly just enough to give Sky and Matchroom the extra nerve to go PPV for it. Bunce also seems to have a 'know your place' attitude towards us mere fans. I just wish he'd follow his true calling to be something like a night time presenter on talksport and get out of boxing.

Bunce is allegedly's Pravda.

I know he can't bite the hand that feeds but some of the things he says regarding home fighters are laughable.
