Week 28 KO of the Week Nominees
Week 28 KO of the Week Nominees
A few spectacular KO's this week. Let's see what wins out.
Re: Week 28 KO of the Week Nominees
Surly it has to be Terrible Terry's victory over Zarate.

That would be one of the last ones I would pick personally. In fact it would be THE last one.Crease wrote:Surly it has to be Terrible Terry's victory over Zarate.

I disagree... it's Jhonny G over Rey, in short order, to advance in the tourney.Crease wrote:Surly it has to be Terrible Terry's victory over Zarate.

That was my vote as well. Jhonny needed a KO win to advance. He got it...in the 1st round no less. The Irish Assassin wrote:I disagree... it's Jhonny G over Rey, in short order, to advance in the tourney.Crease wrote:Surly it has to be Terrible Terry's victory over Zarate.

Zarate is a hard-hitting brawler who is a very dangerous fighter. A TKO victory over him is fantastic when you think that Terry has "beat him at his own game" as it were.gilgamesh wrote:That would be one of the last ones I would pick personally. In fact it would be THE last one.
Not to mention that a victory over Zarate should easily rank higher than Rey Bautista & Moises Castro because he is a better fighter than the two CPUs. And I would suggest that he's a more dangerous fighter than Wilfredo Vazquez, but that's only my view.

I wouldn't disagree that Zarate is a better fighter than Bautista or Castro. I just thought the KO's of the other two were more spectacular.Crease wrote:Zarate is a hard-hitting brawler who is a very dangerous fighter. And the CPU opponent thing shouldn't matter much... Jhonny was CPU controlled for the first 15 weeks.
