Burns should win it's fairly comfortably on points I'd imagine unless zlatican has a suspect chin. He's not a slick southpaw so will be pretty easy for Ricky to hit.

Dejan seems decent but no way Burns is losing this in Glasgow.

boxrec has him as the number 20 lightweight. The odds have Burns as a 10/1 underdog

Lol at anyone who thinks this traveler is going there and getting a decision. He's not gonna win 11 rounds like Crawford.

Burns has actually won hardly any rounds in his last 3 fights. He could well be shot. Still this guy is totally unknown. Definite upset potential.

Burns stinks but the UK is the most corrupt boxing locale in the planet for visiting fighters - and it aint close. The guy literally just has to not lose badly to win decisions.

Burns shouldn't lose this. He can still make money if he remains among the top 5-10 fighters at 135. That's all the motivation he needs.

Call me weird, but I think I need to see this before I can begin to pick the Crawford vs Gamboa fight.

Zlaticanin seems strong but slow, you'd imagine Burns in the form he was in a few years back outworking the fella... Time will tell.

Ive watched some of Zlatcanin, yea he sucks. Tailor made opponent. Slow. Speed and workrate bothers Burns. This guy has none of that. Has good pop against trashmen tho.

I've removed you from ignore for the purposes of this, so don't expect a reply from me to any response of yours, you're going straight back on there, just wanted to see your usual Burns sucks/stinks post and bleating on about robberies.

Workrate isn't a problem for him, you'd struggle to find a fitter fighter, he can struggle with speed, but his big problem is if you take his jab away, if the jab doesn't work he's in trouble, because everything works off it, he doesn't really lead with any other punch.

I'm just cracking up that you have me on ignore. Thats...hilarious. Is it because I think 98% of domestic fighters cant fight?

Probably.

:bag:

Your skin is thinner than Calista Flockhart. It's a message board, broski. Dont be mad at me because Terrance Crawford beat Burns as easily as I said he would.

I heard earlier in this thread someone said Burns might be shot. I'm sure how losing to a better fighter makes him past it.

I think looking at the bigger picture he has looked poor in his last three fights, barely winning a round. I personally suspect that the whatever intangible improvements that took him from domestic level to world class have withered away. He's probably back at domestic level again at best. I think he will look poor in this fight and could well lose.

I'm expecting Burns to win this one convincingly. This is an important fight for Ricky he hasn't won in his last two fights and he's on the wrong side of 30. Another loss won't look too good for his prospect of getting another World Title before his career ends.

Burns is still the same guy. Crawford and Beltran are world class fighters. A lot easier to appear "shot" when you first face elite opposition. He'll look a lot better against a slow guy like this.
